THE CELESTIALS

HISTORY
For many cycles, there have been occurrences inexplicable to the cats of Agawa. Sights of animals long extinct, cats receiving prophetic dreams and visions, and more. These creatures were rumored to be responsible for the changing of night and day, the seasons, and many of the processes occuring in day to day life. More and more, these events occurred, and the inhabitants of the valley began to give these beings names and stories and offerings.
SUNSET

Sunset is hailed as the goddess of the sun, as well as the spring and summer. They appear to the cats of Agawa in the form of a lynx, her pelt the vibrant oranges and deep pinks of a burning sunset. While known for her playful and rambunctious nature, her kindness is not to be mistaken for weakness. The clan cats honor them in a two day long festival during Greenleaf, in which offerings of birds, mice, grasshoppers, and sunflowers are given to ensure a pleasant and prosperous summer.
MOONRISE

Moonrise is acknowledged as the goddess of the moon, autumn and winter. She reveals herself to the cats of Agawa in the form of a mountain lion colored in the dark blues and purples of the night sky. She has been described as benevolent but capricious, and sometimes ill-tempered. A three night festival is held in her honor during Leafbare, where offerings of cypress, prey and stones are given to her in return for bearable winters.
THE BEAST KEEPER

The Beast Keeper is the patron god of the hunt and prey. They are known to be a fierce protector and guardian of the cats in the Canyon, keeping their pack of wolves at bay in return for offerings of prey and sorrel. They also manifest in the form of a wolf.
THE WRAITH

The Wraith is a hardly worshipped god in the canyon. Said to appear to cats as an omen of death, the Wraith shows itself in the form of a large blackbear with a single raven perched on its shoulder. The Wraith is not known to be malevolent, nor random in its appearances, and never claims a cat before their time. It simply enforces Starclan's will.
THE FISHER KING

The Fisher King is the goddess of aquatic life in the canyon and the water itself. She is known to be kind and caring, almost maternal in her care for the inhabitants of Agawa Canyon. Offerings have never been required by her, though most cats pay her respects with a simple thank you when the water is especially pleasant or fish are caught. She appears to the cats of Agawa as a river otter.
THE LIGHT SEEKER

The Light Seeker is known as the god of life in Agawa Canyon. Seen as a glowing ocelot, sightings of the Light Seeker are often interpreted to be omens of good fortune and prosperity. He is said to be kind-hearted and joyful.
